DISTRICTS HISTORICAL SOCIETY

By becoming a member of this vibrant Historical Society you may:

  • Have free access to the Society's extensive library of history related publications.

  • Receive regular newsletters containing items of local historical interest, news of Society events and acknowledgement of donations or purchases to improve the facilities of the Society's Resource Centre.

  • Share local and family history by donating copies of your research for the benefit of others. 

  • Participate in friendship and fellowship with other members at meetings, events and regular working sessions, where you will gain a better understanding of the holdings of the Society and of the history of the Gisborne and Mount Macedon Districts.

- Single Membership $25.00  - Couple Membership  $37.50
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment for Membership to the Society is required annually in July by forwarding a cheque or money order for the appropriate fee, made payable to Gisborne & Mount Macedon Districts Historical Society at :

and advise payment has been made and the reference you have used.
 HOW YOU CAN HELP THE SOCIETY
By donating to the Society copies of your researched information in the form of certificates, wills, titles, photographs, family trees, you will be adding to our extensive and accessible collection, so that other researchers may benefit in the future. We have facilities at the Gisborne Court House Resource Centre for copying photographs while-you-wait and for photo-copying your documents, certificates, titles etc.
